Welcome to ZLG

Zoete Lieve Gerritje (ZLG) is a vibrant rainbow sports club founded in 1989. We are a growing, inclusive group of sports enthusiasts, welcoming the LGBTIQ+ community and their allies in Den Bosch and the region.

Everyone is welcome, whether you have trained before or are an absolute beginner!

Playing sports is our passion, but we also love to socialise! We regularly get together for drinks, pub quizzes, and local queer events. We celebrate Sinterklaas with gifts and games, and we have an incredible annual club weekend.

Volleyball
Every Thursday

From the start, we’ve had weekly volleyball trainings on Thursdays (20:00-21:30h). Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve played before or are just beginning! Our volleyball teams compete in the national queer volleyball league at all levels. And we often join fun tournaments across the country and abroad.

Walking
Every month

We have a fantastic walking group that meets up every second Sunday of the month at 10:00h for another beautiful hike in the Den Bosch region. Every month we pick a different route, usually between 10 and 15 kilometers. And of course we make a stop for coffee and cake!

Running
Every Saturday

Every Saturday morning at 9:30h our new running group meets up at the Prins Hendrik Park in Den Bosch to run the beautiful trail around the IJzeren Vrouw lake. Everyone chooses their own pace and distance. Afterwards we come together for coffee and cake at the cozy tea house in the park!
