Zoete Lieve Gerritje (ZLG) is a vibrant rainbow sports club founded in 1989. We are a growing, inclusive group of sports enthusiasts, welcoming the LGBTIQ+ community and their allies in Den Bosch and the region.

Volleyball and More
From the start, we’ve had weekly volleyball trainings on Thursdays (20:00-21:30h). Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve played before or are just beginning! Our volleyball teams compete in the national queer volleyball league at all levels. And we often join fun tournaments across the country and abroad.

In addition to volleyball, we have a fantastic walking club that meets every second Sunday of the month, and we’re launching a new running group. We also offer short courses, like pétanque. During the summer, we head outdoors for park and beach volleyball.

Playing sports is our passion, but we also love to socialise! We regularly get together for drinks, pub quizzes, and local queer events. We celebrate Sinterklaas with gifts and games, and we have an incredible annual club weekend.

The seasonal membership fee for volleyball is currently €165, with a reduced rate of €125 for students. You can also try a training session for free!

Friends of Zoete Lieve Gerritje
We understand that weekly volleyball training may not be for everyone, but you might still enjoy our exciting social activities! We also love keeping in touch with former members and supporters of our club. That’s why we offer the chance to become a Friend of Zoete Lieve Gerritje. Friends can sign up for all our events and are invited to join us for volleyball a few times if they’d like.
